Upon completion of this CD a person will:
  • Understand the broad concepts of personal financial management and determine an acceptable personal risk level for investment portfolio design

  • Know how to rate and rank money market Funds, CDs, and bonds

  • Understand the fundamental terms and vocabulary associated with stocks, bonds, mutual funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs)

  • Learn about the derivations of major ratios and variables used in stock and mutual fund analysis and how to use these ratios and variables when screening stocks and mutual funds for risk, value and future potential growth
